The Canadian Materials Handling & Distribution Society (CMHDS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the warehousing & distribution community in British Columbia, Canada.
Our goal is to provide a forum in which individuals can network, share ideas and develop their knowledge of materials handling & distribution practices. We offer our members the opportunity to participate in site tours, round table discussions and dinner meetings with guest speakers. We also organize and present one of the largest Forklift Rally’s in North America (maybe the world?) – in 2010 the Rally had almost 90 competitors and had 500 people in attendance.
In addition we are currently working with various educational institutions such as The Logistics Institute, BCIT, The Sauder School of Business and the Delta & Surrey School Boards to promote education, awareness and career opportunities within the Logistics, Material Handling & Distribution Industry.
