On Saturday May 5th, 2007 forklift operators came together to compete in the 10th Annual B.C. Championship Forklift Rally, an event of mobile equipment skill and knowledge. The participants had their skills tested by competing in a precision driving course that required them to navigate though a variety of forklift activities and their forklift knowledge was tested by a written test based on WCB regulations. The top three participants in each of the three divisions received trophies, a cash award and most important, bragging rights!
Trophies and Cash Awards were awarded in each of the three divisions (Reach Truck, Sit-Down Counterbalanced & Walkie-Rider) as follows:
First Place – $500.00 / Second Place – $250.00 / Third Place – $100.00
In addition for the first time we had a TEAM COMPETITION where any group of three participants could register as a team. The winning team was determined by adding the scores from each of the participants runs in their individual division. The winning team was the one with the lowest amount of demerit points combined. All thee members of the winning team received trophies and equal share in a $300.00 cash prize.

2ND PLACE - Jon Blackburn – Wallace & Carey (Reach Truck), Andre Volkow – Summit Logistics (Counterbalanced), Chris Bronson – VersaCold-Cliveden (Walkie-Rider)
3RD PLACE - Angelo Balatsas – Toyota Canada (Reach Truck) , Gary Siu – London Drugs (Counterbalanced), Ryan Korolischuk – Wallace & Carey (Walkie-Rider)
BEST TEAM - Mark Kielpinski, Ryan Korolischuk & Kulwant Dhillon of Wallace & Carey
