On Saturday April 5th, 2008 the members of the CMHDS and the competitors in the 11th Annual BC Championship Forklift Rally gathered for a second year at the Cloverdale Agriplex to battle it out in a competition of forklift skills, tactics and knowledge. The number of competitors jumped to almost 70 and the spectators which numbered almost 200 attended to watch the action and cheer on their friends and collegues.
Part way through the event, Angus Reid from the BC Lions and two of the dance team cheerleaders joined the event to sign autographs and pose for photo’s with spectators and competitors. When lunch came around everyone was treated to Smokies & Pop courtesy of Johnston Equipment and the day ended up with some members of the crowd winning BC Lion’s Game tickets and some getting Lion’s t-shirts as they were tossed out to the crowd.
